Crossover 21 is a fast-paced card game that challenges players to strategize and outwit their opponents while managing the luck of the draw. The objective is to score exactly 21 points by combining cards, all while trying to block opponents from achieving the same. Instructions:
Starting the Game:
The player to the dealer’s left goes first, and play proceeds clockwise.
Turn Mechanics:
On your turn, you must:
Draw a Card: Either take the top card from the draw pile or the top card from the discard pile.
Play a Card (Optional): You may play one card face up to form a new set of cards (called a “combo”) or add it to an existing combo on the table. Combos must contribute to a score that keeps your total under or equal to 21.
Discard a Card: End your turn by discarding one card into the discard pile.
Special Rules:
Exact Match Rule: If a player hits exactly 21 during their turn, they immediately win the round.
Crossover Play: Players can “steal” cards from other players' combos if it helps them reach 21 without exceeding the limit.
Bust Rule: If a player’s total exceeds 21, they are out of the round.
